Meet Heather C. Wright: business attorney, mediator, noted speaker and community leader. Heather began her legal studies at Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, earning awards both as a legal writer and as a fierce advocate in Moot Court proceedings. Following law school, she clerked for Superior Court Judge James G. Bodiford, assisting the Court with business, criminal and family law matters of all varieties. She then worked at three of Atlanta’s most prestigious law firms before founding The Wright Firm, LLC, in 2005. By 2008, she had been sworn into the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States by Chief Justice John Roberts and received multiple prestigious recognitions as a Rising Star by Georgia Super Lawyers Magazine and as Georgia’s “Legal Elite” by Georgia Trend Magazine.
Heather’s boundless energy and drive for solutions take her from the courtroom to the boardroom and back, with time still left for her many community leadership roles. She is founding president of the Buckhead Business Foundation, and a past president of the Buckhead Business Association. Her broad skill set and varied experiences have combined with her dynamic nature to make Heather an effective and entertaining speaker who is in great demand by many kinds of groups, professional teams and other audiences. In the business community, she often lectures and mentors small businesses as an instructor with SCORE Atlanta.
While her skills and interests cover a lot of ground, Heather’s vision centers on the need to riddle out puzzles, act with intent, and find solutions that REALLY work in the contexts that apply to each unique situation. “I was always interested in the law and politics growing up, specifically the questions of who we are, and how we can best resolve our differences and our problems. It only made sense to attend law school and became a professional problem-solver.”

As an entrepreneur herself, Heather couples her litigation skills and business acumen to help her corporate and litigation clients make practical and tactical decisions that serve their interests, not the wallets of attorneys.
